Man who stopped Ajay Devgn’s car over a tweet on farmers’ protest released on bail

Mumbai Police arrested a man who blocked Ajay Devgn’s car over his tweet regarding farmers’ protest. Now, the man has reportedly been released on bail.

After international personalities such as Rihanna, Greta Thunberg and others tweeted in support of the farmers’ protests in India, many Bollywood celebrities talked regarding the issue. Ajay Devgn was amongst the many Bollywood celebs who requested people not to fall for false propaganda against India. On Wednesday, it was reported that Ajay Devgn’s car was blocked by a man while he was heading to Film City. When the man was upset with the actor over his tweet regarding the farmers’ protest.

After blocking Ajay’s car, he was soon arrested by the Mumbai police, however was also released on the same day. The man identified as Rajdeep Ramesh Singh, was reportedly charged with sections 504 and 506 (ii) of IPC. According to a report of ANI, the man has been released on bail. The man was calling out the actor as ‘Punjab Ka Dushman’, and wanted to talk to him but his bodyguard tried to move him away.
