Manchester United advances to UEFA Europa League finals, will face Villarreal

Manchester United lost the second tie of the semi final clash against Roma 3-2 but they managed to get into the final  after an amazing first tie victory of six goals that gave them a comfortable spot.

Edison Cavani scored a brace for United and for the Roma side, Dzeko, Cristante and Zalewski scored in the game at Rome. Manchester ran riots in the first leg where Cavani and Bruno both scored a brace, Pogba and Greenwood scored a goal each.

United will be facing the Spanish club, Villarreal who defeated arsenal on 1-2 on aggregate after a goalless draw. This will be the first European final in the clubs history. Meanwhile United have won this competition in 2017 when they won against Ajax.

Manchester United have a great history when it comes to European competition, they have also won the UEFA Champions League 3 times in their history. The final of the competition will be played in Poland on 27th May.
