It recently came to light that Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, maybe the third high-profile manager to depart the team at the end of the current season.

According to a report by Sport, Arteta has informed those close to him that, once the current season ends, he may decide to leave his position as manager of the Gunners.

In any case, the Spaniard, according to Sky Sports, isn’t planning to leave Arsenal at the end of the current season.

Mikel Arteta’s current contract with Arsenal is going to end in the summer of 2025. Several media reports have linked Arteta to a management position at Barcelona. Xavi, Barcelona’s current head coach, announced that he wanted to leave the club after the Catalan giants fell 5-3 at home to Villarreal in La Liga.

Following the defeat against Villarreal, Barcelona currently sits fourth in La Liga. Barcelona is now 11 points behind Girona, who are at the top of the league. After being named the team’s manager in November 2021, Xavi is set to leave the club.
