The next big disruption of solar energy was announced by Mukesh Ambani during the 44th annual general meeting held of the Reliance industries. Mentioning that the project will be among the largest similar integrated renewable energy manufacturing facilities across the globe, It was announced by Mukesh Ambani that the work on 5,000 acres Dhirubhai Ambani green energy Giga complex has been commenced in Jamnagar.
To manufacture and integrate all critical components needed for the new energy ecosystem, four Giga factories are to be set up by reliance as said by Ambani which would be energy storage battery factory, electrolyser factory, fuel cell factory and solar photovoltaic module factory.
The best talent from across the world is being attracted as ‘world-class talent’ is critically essential for the new business along with which a Reliance New Energy Council has also been established with some of the finest minds globally, he added.
According to the Reliance Industries Limited Chairman, the Company shall invest around ₹60,000 crores in the initiatives over the upcoming 3 years and will create and offer a fully integrated end-to-end renewables energy ecosystem.
As mentioned by Mukesh Ambani, the project is an expression of the company’s commitment showing that they care for our beautiful and bountiful planet along with stating that it is their mission to heal the environment. The company shall help transition India along with the world from industrial civilization to an ecological civilization through the implementation of their green vision, he added.
