Actor Nana Patekar, who just made a comeback to movies after being accused of sexual misconduct during India’s #MeToo movement, was caught on tape hitting a fan on the head. A viral video shows a fan approaching the actor for a selfie and being smacked on the head and pulled away. Nana Patekar has been reported to be filming in Varanasi.
The actor can be seen surrounded by a crowd of people in the viral video, which has been posted on X, Instagram and Reddit. A boy in a T-shirt approaches him from behind, holding out a phone. When Nana Patekar notices him approaching, he doesn’t hesitate and smacks him on the head with visible force. The boy stumbles forward and is grabbed by another man, who appears to be a security official. The second man grabs the boy by the neck and pulls him away from the actor and out of the frame.
