NSYNC reunites on ‘Better Place,’ first release in nearly two decades

NSYNC has returned to the music scene with Better Place, its most awaited musical offering after a nearly two-decade hiatus, in a much-celebrated reunion. This highly anticipated song was officially released on a Friday and is prominently featured on the Trolls Band Together soundtrack.

The revival of NSYNC comes after a long period of time since Justin Timberlake’s departure from the group, with a decade passing since their last group performance. NSYNC’s comeback sparked speculation in the lead-up to the VMAs, fueled by reports of the group secretly recording the now-released song, Better Place, as part of the third instalment of the Trolls franchise.

The forthcoming film revolves around the characters Poppy and Branch, who are played as a  couple by Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, respectively. The twist in the story occurs when Poppy finds Branch’s hidden past as a member of the boy band BroZone, composed of Branch and his four brothers. The film’s trailer even playfully references Timberlake’s boy band days, with a line, “Branch, we’re out of synch. We’ve gone from boys to men, and now there’s only one direction for us to go: The backstreets!”
