Operating income for 2022 drop down: Logitech

Computer accessories manufacturer Logitech International has cautioned that operating income for the fiscal year 2022 will slip off from 2021 sales stirred up by the interest for mouse and keyboard for work and recreation at home in the midst of the Covid pandemic.

The operating income for 2022 under non-Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (non-GAAP) is estimated to be from $750 million to $800 million, which is $1.1 billion lower than the estimated income for 2021.

For 2021, Logitech has a sales forecast of 63% in constant currencies, which is higher than its forecast for 2022 which will be about flat – plus or minus 5%.

Logitech has reported the quarterly adjusted operating income was 85% to $1.67 billion, three times due to the sales of work-from-home products and gaming accessories.
