Oppo Find N5 to launch in February in China; is it going to be the slimmest foldable phone with a titanium body?

Over the past few weeks, rumours about the Oppo Find N5 have been circulating. The Oppo Find N3, which debuted in October 2023, is anticipated to be replaced by the rumoured book-style foldable smartphone.

The likely launch date and anticipated main features of the phone have been alluded to in earlier rumours. A fresh online leak has surfaced before of any formal announcement, reinforcing some of the earlier rumours. When it comes, Oppo’s Find N5 is predicted to be the thinnest foldable.

A Weibo post by tipster Smart Pikachu states that the Oppo Find N5 will debut in China in February. According to the informant, the phone is codenamed “Haiyan” and is probably going to dominate the market for nearly six months. This might be because rival companies aren’t anticipated to release their foldable phones until July.

The insider claims that the next Oppo Find N5 would include a triple rear camera set with a periscope shooter and a Hasselblad backing. It is anticipated to include a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and support satellite connectivity.

The phone will probably have a big battery with 6,000 mAh and wireless charging capabilities. The Oppo Find N5 will have a thinner body than the previous model, the Oppo Find N3, which has an 11.7mm profile, the tipster stated.

The company will introduce the Find N5 with a “new industrial design” that prioritises endurance, they added. For splash resistance, the phone is rumoured to have an IPX8 rating.
