As is the tradition, every Best Original Song nominees are performed live during the Oscar ceremony. Ryan’s fans have been wondering if the actor-singer will perform live at the ceremony since he was nominated for his surprise hit I’m Just Ken. Now, Variety reveals that he will take the stage to sing the Barbie song.

Regarding his potential live performance at the Oscars, Ryan had earlier stated in an interview with Variety, “It might be too much of a risk to have me do it. I don’t know how that would work. But I’m open to it.”

Ryan is also nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Ken in Barbie, however, his co-star Margot Robbie and director Greta Gerwig were left out in the Best Actress and Best Director categories. In any case, Barbie is still nominated for Best Picture, putting co-producers Margot and Greta eligible for an Oscar.
