The film Peddi, starring Ram Charan, will be released in theaters on April 30, 2026. The sports action drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is said to include a cameo appearance by Mrunal Thakur in a dance performance.
According to Gulte, Mrunal Thakur is set to make a cameo appearance in Peddi. According to reports, Sita Ramam would do a dance routine opposite Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in the film. However, this remains unclear because the creators have not made an official declaration.

Ram Charan plays the lead, and the ensemble cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani, and others. Buchi Babu Sana wrote and directed the film, which is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and Ishan Saksena under the labels Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment.
AR Rahman composed the film’s music. The makers recently debuted their second single, Rai Rai Raa Raa. The dynamic dance song features Ram Charan’s dances, with ARR providing vocals in both Telugu and Tamil. Ram Charan most recently appeared as the lead in S. Shankar’s Game Changer. The film portrays an honest IAS officer who strives to abolish corruption from the political system while clashing with powerful politicians.
Aside from Charan, the film featured Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Meka Srikanth, and Jayaram in significant roles. Both critics and audiences were unimpressed with the picture, which is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Looking ahead, Ram Charan is slated to appear in a film tentatively titled RC17, directed by Sukumar, marking their reunion following the hit Rangasthalam.
