Apparently, only a song shoot remains, and the directors are said to have finished the background soundtrack work for the film’s first half. With the second half editing and score work still pending, the film is scheduled to be completed soon. Charan is claimed to have worked on the film on his birthday, as it is set to be released on April 30. However, these details are based on reports and have not been confirmed by the manufacturers.
Peddi is reported to revolve around a cricket event in a rural setting.
Ram Charan plays the lead, and the ensemble cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani, and others. Buchi Babu Sana wrote and directed the film, which is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and Ishan Saksena under the labels Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment.
AR Rahman composed the film’s music and background score. On the actor’s birthday, the creators released a sneak peek of Charan in a strong wrestler-like avatar.
Ram Charan most recently appeared as the lead in S. Shankar’s Game Changer. The film portrays an honest IAS officer who strives to abolish corruption from the political system while clashing with powerful politicians.
Aside from Charan, the film has Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Meka Srikanth, and Jayaram in important parts. Both critics and audiences were unimpressed with the picture, which is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Looking ahead, the actor is scheduled to star in a film tentatively named RC17, directed by Sukumar, which will mark their reunion following the hit Rangasthalam.
