On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised his complete assistance and said he was praying for the safety of those affected by the flash floods in Dharali, Uttarkashi.
Narendra Modi shared on X, “I express my condolences to the people affected by this tragedy in Dharali, Uttarkashi. Along with this, I pray for the well-being of all the victims. I have spoken to Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami ji and obtained information about the situation.”
Rescue and relief crews are working, he said. “No stone is being left unturned in providing assistance to the people,” the prime minister stated. In the high-altitude villages of Dharali, a cloudburst on Tuesday unleashed flash floods that swept away multiple houses in its train and killed at least four people.
There are a lot of hotels, homestays, and eateries in Dharali, which is the primary halt on the route to Gangotri. A Harsil army squad has been dispatched to the scene.
