Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee have begun a new chapter in their lives after dating for a long period. The couple posted pictures from their lovely and private traditional ceremony on social media. Prateik and Priya were married on Friday.
They posted a number of breathtaking photos from their small wedding on social media. “I’ll marry you in every lifetime #priyaKAprateik,” they wrote.
The late actor Smita Patil’s home in Bandra, Mumbai, served as the venue for the couple’s private wedding. They can be seen holding hands in the pictures, and in one of them, Prateik is seen crying. In one picture, he is seated in front of a picture of his mother.
Prateik and Priya decided to wear beautiful traditional clothing created by Tarun Tahiliani for their big day. Priya looked stunning in a lehenga of ivory and gold that was exquisitely made with delicate embroidery and threadwork, showcasing the luxury of Indian craftsmanship. She accessorised her lehenga with a translucent veil and a corset.
She accessorised her ensemble with kundan jewellery, including a stunning pair of earrings, a choker-style necklace, bangles, and a maangtika. She wore basic and uncomplicated makeup.
Prateik accessorised his appearance with an open sherwani. He wore a kurta and dhoti combination with the sherwani. He added a pearl necklace to finish the ensemble. The wedding’s decor had a simple colour scheme, with white and ivory accents taking the stage. The dreamy ambiance of the wedding was further enhanced by the fresh white flowers and green greenery that were used to adorn their wedding mandap.
Prateik has been married twice. Previously, he got married to Sanya Sagar. Within a year of getting married, the pair broke up, and in January 2023, they formally filed for divorce. According to Aarya Babbar, Prateik’s half-brother, earlier in the day, Prateik’s father, Raj Babbar, was not invited to the wedding.
Aarya discussed the Babbar family not receiving an invitation to the wedding in an interview with ETimes. Aarya has been confused and disappointed by Prateik’s choice because he always thought they had a tight and solid relationship.
