Prince Charles shares the “happy news” of Baby Lilibet Diana’s birth in his Oxford visit.

Prince Charles recently gave a speech during his visit to Oxford and addressed granddaughter Lilibet Diana’s birth.

The royal family has recently had an addition to their family as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their second baby, daughter Lilibet Lili Diana. She was born on Friday, June 4, 2021. Every member of the royal family had been sending their congratulatory messages to Harry and Meghan. The name of the second baby has been kept in honor of her grandmother, Princess Diana and also great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II whose family nickname is Lilibet.

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have congratulated the Duke and Duchess of Sussex saying, “Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana.”

Prince Charles has also mentioned his grandchild in the recent speech he gave at Oxford. During his speech, Prince Charles spoke about becoming a grandfather for the fifth time and said, “The development of technology like electric vehicles, or green hydrogen for that matter for heavy transport, is vital for maintaining the health of our world for future generations, something I am only too aware of today, having recently become a grandfather for the fifth time”, via Just Jared in an event regarding innovation and technology.

He expressed Lilibe’s arrival as “such happy news” and said, “The development of technology like electric vehicles, or green hydrogen for that matter for heavy transport, is vital for maintaining the health of our world for future generations, something I am only too aware of today, having recently become a grandfather for the fifth time,” via Just Jared.

Baby Lilibet is also featured in mother, Meghan Markle’s new book, ‘The Bench’, which a tribute to multicultural fatherhood.
