Priyanka Chopra, an actress, is returning to Mumbai to attend her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding. In addition to her daughter Malti Marie, her husband Nick Jonas has now arrived in India to join in the festivities.
Priyanka posted an Instagram photo album on Thursday that included all of the best moments from the mehendi ceremony last night. Clearly, Malti was the star of the show. In Priyanka’s photos, young Malti is wearing a pink floral lehenga that resembles her mother’s white floral ensemble. She also had small mehendi motifs on her hand and wore pink and purple bangles.
In addition, Priyanka forced her to cover up her very Desi appearance with a white denim jacket. In another scene, Malti was lying in Priyanka’s arms and Maamu Siddharth was playing with her. Denise Jonas, Priyanka’s mother-in-law, looked gorgeous in a pink saree with her hair tied up as artists put mehendi to her hands. She was photographed by her husband, Kevin Jonas Sr.
At supper, Priyanka posed with all of the elderly family members and danced with her cousin Mannara to her own song, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. The charming moments from the wedding were adored by the fans.
On Friday, Siddharth, Priyanka’s younger brother, will wed actor Neelam Upadhyaya. Priyanka, 42, arrived in India last month with her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, age three. On Sunday, she travelled first to Hyderabad before continuing on to Mumbai.
The Los Angeles-based actor has been posting images and videos from her brother’s pre-wedding celebrations, including the haldi and mehndi ceremonies, on social media. Denise Miller-Jonas and Kevin Jonas, Sr., Nick’s parents, also travelled to India a few days ago to witness Siddharth and Neelam’s wedding.
