Kylian Mbappe’s relationship with his current club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) appears to have deteriorated further. Mbappe created enough noise after declining to extend his contract with the French club this summer. PSG has reportedly removed Mbappe posters from around their stadium, Parc des Princes. According to GFFN, the club has also stopped selling PSG shirts with Mbappe’s name in its official club shops. PSG has also removed Mbappe’s image from their most recent Brilliantcrypto sponsorship poster.

The transfer market is now buzzing with speculation over Mbappe’s future. The 24-year-old has previously shown an interest in joining Real Madrid. According to reports, Mbappe has already agreed to terms with the Spanish giants and will join them in 2024, when his current deal with PSG expires. The Ligue 1 champions do not want to lose their star striker on free agency. Rather, they were looking for a hefty fee of €250 million in order for the deal to happen this summer.
In the midst of this transfer saga, the removal of Mbappe’s poster could mean that PSG has already begun the process of removing the footballer’s presence from the club. While the French club has not officially confirmed the move, it is possible that the old poster will be replaced with a new one including photographs of the new signings.
