The French champions announced Goncalo Ramos’ signing with a somewhat vague video featuring Ramos’ compatriot and club legend Pauleta. Ramos netted 27 goals in all competitions for Benfica last season and PSG is said to have spent roughly €80 million (£68 million/$88 million) for the 22-year-old.
PSG might lose Kylian Mbappe this summer, in addition to Neymar, who wants to leave the French capital and so the pressure will be on Ramos to make an immediate impact in Ligue 1.

It would be fascinating to see how Ramos adapts to his new surroundings in France. PSG are always in flux and both Mbappe and Neymar may or may not be at the club at the start of the Ligue 1 season. To win over the always-sceptical PSG fans, Ramos will need to make an early impression.
