In spite of receiving a record-breaking offer from the Saudi Arabian soccer team Al-Hilal, Kylian Mbappé reportedly declined to meet with them.
According to the French sports daily L’Equipe, the Paris Saint-Germain player refused to meet with Al-Hilal officials who were in Paris to sign Brazilian attacker Malcom.
On Monday, Al-Hilal made a record 300 million euro ($332 million) bid for Mbappé.
PSG want to cash in on the World Cup star now rather than let him leave for free when his contract ends a year from now.
Lionel Messi, who joined Inter Miami after 2 years at PSG, was missed by Al-Hilal.
Mbappé, 24, is in a standoff with PSG after choosing not to take up the option of a 12-month extension. He will instead go as a free agent in 2025 when it is mostly expected that he would sign with Real Madrid.
In the meantime, Malcom was finally signed by Al-Hilal to a four-year contract. The 26-year-old winger had played for Zenit St. Petersburg for the past 4 years.
