The Rule Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, was released in theatres on December 5 by Sukumar. Sacnilk claims that Pushpa: The Rise, the follow-up to the 2021 movie, has made ₹1416.40 crore globally.
The website states that the movie made ₹1181.4 crore gross, or ₹990.6 crore net, in 15 days in India. It generated ₹235 crore in overseas revenue in 15 days, for a global total of ₹1416.40 crore. In India, the movie earned ₹17.65 crore on its second Thursday, totalling ₹264.8 crore for the second week. In its first week of release, the movie brought in ₹725.8 crore.
According to the data, Arjun’s legal troubles don’t appear to have affected the movie’s box office receipts. On December 4, the actor went to the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad for the film’s debut. His arrival caused a stampede-like situation, which led to one woman’s death and the hospitalisation of her young son in critical condition.
Arjun was taken into custody by the Telangana police on December 13, brought before the court, and detained overnight in Chanchalguda Central Jail. The Telangana High Court granted him 4-week interim bail after the Nampally Court imposed a 14-day remand. Since then, director Sukumar and his father, Allu Aravind, have paid the victim a visit at the hospital. Arjun gave the family ₹25 lakh, and Sukumar gave ₹5 lakh.
