On Sunday, the most anticipated Allu Arjun film Pushpa 2: The Rule released its trailer. It is the sequel to the 2021 pan-Indian hit Pushpa: The Rise, which was directed by Sukumar and stars Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in their original roles.
It is anticipated that the film, which builds on the first installment, which concluded with a dramatic confrontation between Arjun and Fahadh, will be even more intense when newcomers join the conflict. Although the storyline developments have been kept a secret, the film’s creators have revealed that actor Sreeleela will feature in a special song.
The appearance of Samantha in the hit dance tune Oo Antava Maama was undoubtedly one of the first part’s main attractions. Interestingly, the film marked the maiden national awards for Allu Arjun and Devi Sri Prasad.
However, it is speculated that Devi Sri Prasad will only contribute to the songs of the film, while Thaman has been roped in for the background score. There are also reports that certain sections of the film will be scored by Kantara-fame Ajaneesh Lokanath and Kaithi-fame Sam CS.
While Thaman confirmed the news in various interviews recently, the other composers haven’t confirmed or denied this development. The movie will release on December 5, 2024, in theatres.
