Amid rising excitement around the Dhurandhar franchise, actor Rakesh Bedi has responded to speculation about a possible third instalment. The actor, currently in the spotlight for his portrayal of Jameel Jamali, shared his thoughts in an interview with Zoom, as fans continue to call for Dhurandhar 3 following the success of the second film.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, the spy thriller franchise has seen massive box office success. Together, the two films have earned over ₹3,000 crore globally, with the first instalment alone collecting around ₹1300 crore after its release in December 2025.
Addressing the growing demand, Bedi expressed uncertainty about a third chapter. He noted that while the franchise format allows for continuation with new faces, the current storyline reaches a natural conclusion with the spy returning to his homeland.
Reflecting on his role, the actor spoke about the twist that reveals his character as an Indian spy operating in Pakistan. According to him, while the moment created a strong reaction among viewers, it was approached as a regular scene during filming. He added that the success of the first film shaped audience expectations for the sequel, making viewers more invested in the narrative.
With audiences now eager for what comes next, the future of Dhurandhar remains a topic of discussion, even as its current story appears complete.
