Ranveer Singh is being widely applauded for his commitment in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, with a behind-the-scenes clip now drawing attention for all the right reasons. While the film continues its strong run in theatres, it is the actor’s preparation for a crucial underwater sequence that has struck a chord with audiences online.
The scene, featuring his character Jaskirat Singh Rangi, shows the rigorous training required to become a spy. As part of this transformation, the character practises breath control underwater, a detail that adds depth to the narrative. What makes the sequence stand out even more is that Singh chose to perform it himself, without relying on a body double.
In the surfaced BTS footage, the actor is first seen undergoing training before stepping into the pool. He then submerges himself completely, holding still underwater as the camera captures the moment, reflecting both discipline and control.
Social media was quick to respond, with fans praising his dedication and calling the effort “next level.” Many highlighted how his hard work is visible on screen, while others even expressed hopes of major award recognition for the performance.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the sequel explores the origins of Hamza Ali Mazari while continuing the mission to dismantle a terror network. Featuring actors like Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt, the film has already made a powerful box office impact, collecting ₹145 crore domestically and ₹240 crore worldwide on its opening day, inching rapidly towards the ₹300 crore mark.
