Rashid Khan named his three most memorable wickets

Rashid Khan, the leg-spinner for Afghanistan and Sunrisers Hyderabad ( SRH ), has named dismissing superstars MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers clean bowled as his most memorable T20 scalps.

Rashid Khan, who plays for SRH in the IPL, has faced the three superstars on several occasions. AB de Villiers is the top batsman for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), while Dhoni and Kohli are the captains of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), respectively.

Rashid Khan is now in Abu Dhabi, where he will play with Lahore Qalandars for the rest of the PSL 2021 season. The leg-spinner reflected on his most memorable T20 wickets in an interview with Cricwick, saying “to be honest, there are a lot of memorable wickets. But if you ask me who are my finest three T20 wickets, I’d say, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers. All three of them had been bowled by me. Taking wickets is fine; you get people out caught sometimes, and you get them out Law or sometimes. But, I would say, having such icons out bowled is a major accomplishment”.

Rashid Khan also said in the interview that one day he hopes to bowl to retired Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar was bowled only once by a leg-spinner in the last 13 years in his ODI career, Cricwick pointed out to the stat to Khan.

Responding to this he stated “that is why I want to bowl to him because he hardly used to get out to leg-spin. More than getting him out, it would be a huge pleasure to bowl to someone like Sachin Tendulkar. Getting him out or not out is a different thing, just bowling to him would be like a dream come true”.
