Rashid Khan reveals why Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson and Babar Azam are world-class cricketers

The 22-year old Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan eulogized cricketers Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, and Babar Azam stating that these players are the best among all the cricketers there in the world. Also, this is not the first time the leg spinner has spoken in terms of admiration of these players due to their quality of cricket.

The players Rashid whom he mentioned that he admires are all the skippers of their respective country’s cricket and these players are shouldering their side by taking the responsibility of scoring runs and also managing the side in a balanced way.  Rashid feels they are best at the game because they back their natural game to stay consistent rather than relying on the ‘slam-bang’ approach of batting.

He also stated that the trio plays the ball through the ground more and all are exceptionally well at manipulating the field by playing risk-free cricket in their way.  Khan who was speaking to cricket Pakistan elaborated on why Kohli, Williamson, and Azam are modern-day greats of the game.

“It is quite difficult (to compare the three batsmen) but no doubt Virat is a world-class player. Even Kane Williamson and Babar Azam are right up there. They know their limits and the shots they can play. The process with which they start and end their innings is very clear,” Rashid Khan expressed his views on the modern-day cricketing giants.
