‘Ray’ trailer: Netflix’s new anthology with talented ensemble

The trailer of Netflix’s upcoming anthology, Ray got released yesterday which showcased promising cast like Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon.

Yesterday, the trailer of Netflix’s new anthology ‘Ray’ got released and was well appreciated by the audience.

Fans are excited to see all the talented actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon together in the film.

‘Ray’ is a combination of Satyajit Ray’s four timeless classics, Forget Me Not, Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa, Bahrupiya and Spotlight, with modern narrative. The movie revolves around the lives of four individuals and different problems they face in their life.

The four stories are based on human emotions of ego, revenge, envy and betrayal. In the trailer we can see, one of the character who believes that humans are no less than Gods as they too have the power to give birth. Then we see another character portrayed by Ali Fazal who has a memory of a computer. Manoj Bajpayee plays the role of a ghazal singer and Kay Kay Menon plays a very talented makeup artist.

All four of the characters face a huge unexpected turn in their lives which leads the story of the films. The film also include stars like Gajraj Rao, Shweta Basu Prasad, Anindita Bose, Bidita Bag, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Radhika Madan, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.

People liked the way the legendary director Satyajit Ray’s creation is going to be presented in a modern way. Satyajit Ray had took Indian Cinema to great heights and his fans from all over the world are excited to watch this anthology.

Featuring stories by Abhishek Chaubey, Srijit Mukherji and Vasan Bala, Ray will premiere on the streamer on June 25.
