Real Madrid has officially announced that Sergio Ramos is leaving the club and there will be a farewell today for the captain as a tribute to his legacy.
“Real Madrid C.F. communicates that tomorrow, Thursday 17 June, at 12:30 pm, an institutional act of tribute band farewell to our captain Sergio Ramos will be held, which will be attended by our president Florentino Perez. Sergio Ramos will then appear before the media in a virtual press conference,” stated the club Real Madrid through an official announcement.

According to COPE, the defender waited for the club until the last moment and the player never wanted to leave. He is now expected to go to Paris or London. The Spaniard will reveal everything in the press conference tomorrow and is not happy with the situation.
Joined since 2005, after 16 years of his legacy, captain Espana has officially left the Los Blancos even after Carlo Ancelotti tried to convince him. His contract expires at the end of June. He said goodbye thanking the Whites on his social media platform with the cover “Gracias Real Madrid”, after the club announced his departure officially.

He has scored 102 goals in 671 of his games and won four Champions League, five Laliga titles and 22 other major trophies with Real Madrid. A legend with a remarkable record for the club, is now leaving with alot of memories and trophies. Marcelo is now Madrid’s new captain replacing Ramos.
