Rishab Pant, Indian Cricket Team wicket-keeper batsman scored an unbeaten century in the intra-squad match of the Indian side as part of the preparation for the upcoming final match of the ICC World Test Championship against the New Zealand cricketing side who recently emerged as the ICC number one Test side in the world. The marque event will take place at the Ages Bowl in Southampton, starting on June 18.
Pant, who had played a crucial role through in-form performances in the Austalia earlier this year, landed in the UK and continued his exceptional form as he smashed a century(121* off 94 balls) while playing the intrasquad game in Southampton.
After a successful warm-up game, Rishabh Pant didn’t forget to share an Instagram post with a couple of pictures of himself from the three-day intra-squad match.
Pant’s earlier records prove that he has a good track record in the English countryside. When Rishab had toured England in 2018 for a red-ball assignment, he had managed to score a brilliant century.
Rishab who hails from Delhi has managed to play 33 innings out of 20 games he has placed in which he has scored 1358 runs at an average of 45.27 adding three centuries to his kitty and 159 being his highest Test score.
