Ryan Gosling’s project Hail Mary maintains solid pace, collects ₹12 crore in India

The Hollywood picture, Project Hail Mary, is doing well at the box office. On its third day (Saturday), the sci-fi action adventure thriller starring Ryan Gosling grossed Rs. 5.75 crore. This is approximately 40% greater than on Day 2, and 47% higher than on Day 1.

Project Hail Mary grossed Rs. 12.25 crore during its three-day theatrical run. Based on current patterns, the film is expected to witness another surge on Sunday and complete its four-day weekend with a gross of roughly Rs. 18 crore at the Indian box office. It will be the most successful weekend premiere for a non-IP Hollywood picture in India.

The sci-fi film, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, has received a great welcome from audiences, which is driving its commerce. Furthermore, due to high public demand, the film was able to book more premium format shows over the weekend. If it continues to perform as projected, Project Hail Mary will easily take more over Rs. 50 crore in its entire run at the Indian box office, which will be excellent business for the Ryan Gosling starring.

The Ryan Gosling-starring film is doing exceptionally well in other worldwide markets. While the film grossed more than USD 124.5 million in its domestic markets, the overseas regions contributed approximately USD 98.7 million. Nonetheless, the sci-fi action adventure grossed over USD 223.2 million globally. It is projected to exceed USD 250 million by tonight.
