Superstar Salman Khan unveiled the second teaser of his much-anticipated action film Sikandar on Thursday, delivering a high-adrenaline showcase of his signature action style. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is slated for an Eid 2025 release under Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner.
The teaser highlights Salman in intense combat scenes, including one where he takes down multiple opponents effortlessly. From outdoor battles to action aboard a plane, the teaser promises a gripping, action-packed narrative. However, one scene has sparked online comparisons to Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, starring Prabhas.
A particular frame, where Salman stands poised with a group of opponents wielding sword-like weapons behind him, bears a striking resemblance to a similar moment in Salaar. This similarity did not go unnoticed by social media users, igniting debates across platforms.
“Every masterpiece & it’s cheap copy #SikandarTeaser #Sikandar,” one user commented on X (formerly Twitter). Another Reddit user critiqued the teaser, saying, “Dialogues are mundane, and the action feels bland. The last shot gave me Salaar vibes.”
While some fans defended the teaser, others shared side-by-side comparisons, asking followers who executed the intense scene better Salman Khan or Prabhas.
Despite the online debate, anticipation remains high for Sikandar, which also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Rashmika Mandanna. Although Salman’s rumored new look is yet to be revealed, the film’s plot remains tightly under wraps, heightening excitement for its grand Eid release.
