On Saturday, the teaser for Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, directed by AR Murugadoss, was made public. The passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh caused a one-day delay in the distribution of the video.
Salman’s Sikandar is seen entering a room with weapons and others wearing samurai armour in the one-minute, forty-one-second film. But by saying, “Suna hain ki bohot saare log mere peeche pade hain. Bas, meri mudne ki der hain. (I’ve heard a lot of people have it out for me. Just wait for me to turn).”
At first, the Sikandar teaser was supposed to be released on December 27, Salman’s birthday. To honour Manmohan Singh, the film’s crew decided to postpone the release by one day.
Salman and his loved ones celebrated his birthday at Jamnagar, Gujarat. His brother Sohail Khan, along with his nephews Nirvaan and Arhaan, attended the Ambanis’ party. Salman also posed for a picture with Anant Ambani on his 59th birthday.
Under the auspices of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sajid Nadiadwala produced Sikandar. Salman is shown brandishing a spear in a recently released movie poster, but his face is hidden. The movie will be released in theatres on Eid 2025.
The Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films that Murugadoss is most renowned for directing include Sarkar, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Thuppakki, Spyder, and Ghajini. Another important character in the movie is Kajal Aggarwal.
