Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12 at the age of 92, leaving the entire country saddened. As the news spread, many celebrities shared their grief and memories of the singer. Actor Shah Rukh Khan also paid tribute, remembering her with heartfelt words.

Taking to social media, Shah Rukh Khan posted a cherished picture with the singer and reflected on her lasting impact. He described her voice as one of the strongest foundations of Indian cinema, adding that her music will continue to resonate across generations. Fondly referring to her as “Asha Tai,” he also recalled the warmth and blessings she always extended to him, making her loss deeply personal.

Asha Bhosle’s association with Shah Rukh Khan’s films remains memorable, especially her contribution to popular tracks from the 1990s. One of the most iconic songs she lent her voice to was “Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main” from the blockbuster film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, co-sung with Abhijeet Bhattacharya.

As news of her passing spread, several prominent names including Kajol, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Kangana Ranaut also paid tribute, highlighting the profound influence she had on Indian music and cinema.

The singer, who had been facing health complications, was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai a day before her passing. Her mortal remains will be kept at her residence in Lower Parel for final respects, with the last rites scheduled later in the evening.
