Indian cricketer and Delhi Capital’s opener Shikhar Dhawan got COVID-19 vaccination just after the BCCI and the IPL board temporarily suspended the 14th edition of the IPL. Dhawan took it to his Twitter to convey to everyone that he has been vaccinated and those not should get it done soon. He also mentioned appreciating the frontline workers for their brave sacrifice and thorough dedication throughout the pandemic.
“vaccinated. Can’t thank all our frontline warriors enough for their sacrifice and dedication. Please do not hesitate and get yourself vaccinated as soon as possible. It’ll help us all defeat this virus”, Dhawan tweeted.
Shikhar Shawan was the leading run-scorer of the suspended league with 380 runs in eight innings. Moreover, Delhi Capitals looked in precisely good form this season nailing every possible match they can to stand at the top of the points table.
