Spider-Man producer opens up on potential Peter Parker/Miles Morales MCU crossover

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, according to Tom Holland, is the best Spider-Man film to date. Would Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and Shameik Moore’s Miles Morales appear in the same Spider-Man film? That’s a question with no answer, just like the last scene of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

In a new interaction with The Hollywood Reporter, Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal stated that while Miles Morales’ Spider-Verse franchise and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker franchise are “completely separate words,” she cannot rule out the possibility of the two being merged. “Never say no to anything,” Pascal states, before indicating that she has a long way to go before that occurs because she has a lot of films to create for each one separately.

In the same interaction, Tom stated that a 4th instalment of his Spider-Man franchise is in the works. He’s been meeting with Amy and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and they’ve mulling over the question, ‘Why would we do this again?’ And Tom stated that they appeared to have found the answer.

But the prospect doesn’t come without apprehension. “There’s a bit of a stigma about the fourth one in all franchises. I feel like we hit a home run with our first franchise and there’s a part of me that wants to walk away with my head held high and pass the baton to the next lucky kid that gets to bring this character to life,” Tom said.
