Tata Group owned by Ratan Tata has been facing a tough time making decisions regarding the two airlines they hold majority stake in, AirAsia India and Vistara. Ratan Tata has always been fascinated about aviation considering his legacy, but fascination isn’t enough to run a successful airline. Vistara and AirAsia have not made money instead they have lost around $845 million this year. The Indian government has been trying to sell their non-profit airlines for years. Will Tata buy AirIndia and run three airlines or will it back out?
