Team Mahi threatens to take legal action against Excali

Samurai Esports have added Karan ‘Excali’ Mhaswadkar to their budding Valorant roster. The player arrives from Team Mahi after earning a reputation of being one of the best players in India right from the inception of the regional competitive Valorant scene.

This news came as a shock for the whole community since Team Mahi is the top Valorant team in the country since the game’s origin and Excali has been teammates with members of Team Mahi formerly known as Team Velocity since his CS:GO times.

This news came as a shock to team Mahi as well as they told via their Instagram story that Excali was still under contract from Team Mahi and this kind of behavior is unacceptable. They added that since both parties (Excali and Samurai Esports) were aware of the fact, Legal actions will be taken against the player.

If the allegations come true Excali might face a long ban from his competitive career. Samurai Esports are new to the Indian Valorant scene and they have made an impact straight away by signing the former XZT roster consisting of Simar “Psy” Sethi and famous Valorant streamer Shobhit “Tbone”.
