The England and Wales Cricket Board’s upcoming new format of 100-ball tournament is all set begin with it’s first edition.

England and Wales Cricket Board’s upcoming new format of 100-ball tournament is all set, to begin with, its first edition after it got postponed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic last year. The Hundred will have eight teams from major cities across England and Wales.

The eight teams featuring in the first edition of The Hundred are Trent Rockets, Northern Superchargers, Birmingham Phoenix, Southern Brave, Welsh Fire, Oval Invincibles, Manchester Original and London Spirit. Starting from July 22 to August 21, all the matches of the 100-ball game will be played in Eight different venues and the final of the tournament will be played in Lord’s.
