As the highly anticipated Royal Rumble 2024 concludes, the company is still under question following the shocking disclosure of a lawsuit against former chairman Vince McMahon, who is accused of abusing and sexually exploiting employees while serving as the company’s CEO.
Following the Rumble, WWE’s Chief Content Officer and TKO Group Holdings’ Paul Levesque, well-known as Triple H, made his first comments about the serious allegations his father-in-law is currently facing.
When questioned about the case, Triple H preferred to focus on the event instead of what was going on outside. He said, “I choose to focus on the positive and yes, there’s a negative but I want to focus on that and just keep it to that.”
Reporters also inquired whether the company had ensured that its employees felt protected. In response, he stated that it is “very important,” and that the company is doing “everything possible” to ensure it. However, Triple H gave an intriguing response, stating that he found it on Thursday and has yet to study the lawsuit’s details.
According to Sky News reports, Vince McMahon, the accused, has denied the accusations made against him before the Royal Rumble. His statement said,” I stand by my prior statement that Ms Grant’s lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and is a vindictive distortion of the truth. I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations, and look forward to clearing my name.”
