Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan will be given the COVID-19 vaccine shot today on March 2, 2021. He will take the vaccine shot at Delhi Heart and Lung Institute, according to an official statement.
“Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, along with his wife Smt Nutan will take the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine. At: Delhi Heart and Lung Institute. At: 11 am. On: March 2, 2021 (Tuesday)…,” the statement released by the health ministry read.
Phase 2 of the COVID-19 vaccination in India began on March 1 for citizens over the age of 60. People between 45 and 59 years of age with specific comorbidities will also be vaccinated in this phase.
The country plans to vaccinate close to 270 million beneficiaries in Phase 2.
