The new merger Vodafone Idea has lost about 155 million customers in the last nine quarters and it is likely that they might lose 50 to 70 million users in the coming year. On the other hand, Reliance developed Jio, and Airtel might gain users. VI still owes Rs. 50,000 crore to the department of telecommunications of India after paying Rs. 7,854 crore.
