Vodafone Idea (or Vi) has emerged as the 4G broadband service with the fastest upload and download speeds in the month of October to December 2020, beating Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio Infocomm according to a speed testing platform named Ookla.
This means Vi has delivered the fastest internet speed in the entirety of the country consistently for 6 months. The faster the internet speed, the more the high tariff customers are attracted towards the telecom service. 16 states in particular have reaped benefits from the internet speed provided by Vi which include Rajasthan, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Manipur, Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, Chattisgarh, Kerala, and Nagaland.
The telecom service provider also has the highest average download speed in 142 cities across the country.
