We could have claimed Virat’s offspring as an Australian, if his kid was born here, says Allan Border

After the BCCI granted paternity leave to Indian batsmen, the Virat Kohli environment is tense on who’ll take over the fourth batting position for the test match at Adelaide. 1987 World Cup-winning Australian captain Allan Border had a different view on this. “We were thinking he might think about having his newborn baby here because we can claim his offspring as Australian,” Border jokingly said during a media interaction. Kolhi will be nonfunctional for the last three tests.
