Coming in at a critical stage, Kaur played with intent, scoring a rapid 42 off just 21 balls with four boundaries and three sixes. This performance has taken her past Verma’s 561 runs in the ongoing season, putting her in the top three of the highest run-getters. MI’s innings gained momentum with her partnership alongside Nat Sciver-Brunt, who has also been in sensational form this season.
Sciver-Brunt, who had an exceptional WPL 2023 season, continued her dominance with a well-compiled 45 off 33 balls, including eight fours.
