On Day 3, after India got all-out scoring 217 total, the Kiwis’ openers played sensational knock and scored 70 runs for first wicket partnership, after that Devon Conway and Kane Williamson managed to frustrate the Indian bowlers with New Zealand ending Day 3 at 101/2 as they trail India by 116 runs, with Kane Williamson (12*) and Ross Taylor (0*) unbeaten at the crease.

Former Indian off-spinner admitted that India had a ‘bad day’ on Sunday but is confident that they will make a strong comeback in the WTC final.

Harbhajan Singh posted on Twitter saying, “Team India had a bad day yesterday on the field.good thing is it’s past now..backing Team India to be at their best today to win all 3 sessions.. it is POSSIBLE.. do it boys @BCCI game on.”

Day 3, Sunday was good for Kiwis’ as Kyle Jamieson took a five-wicket haul on a seam-friendly wicket in Southampton, and stopped Indian at a total of 217.

The New Zealand’s openers Tom Latham and Devon Conway started well and have their team in a very positive position to get the title of the inaugural WTC Final.
