Granit Xhaka is closing in on a permanent move to the Italian capital from Arsenal after being placed near the top of Mourinho’s summer wishlist. Mourinho is also pushing for the signing of Torino’s Andrea Belotti to add to his attacking options at Roma. Roma’s first offer of €15 million for Belotti was rejected by Torino as it was considered insulting but Roma are preparing to bid at increased €20 million for the Italian international. Mourinho is planning to start his new project at Roma and one of his first actions was tying down Roma’s main man Henrikh Mkhitaryan to a new deal. The Armenian reportedly signed an extension of two years on his contract a few weeks ago.
