Tamil film Youth is doing well at the box office. After earning Rs. 28.75 crore in its first week, the coming-of-age comedic drama opened the second weekend with Rs. 2.50 crore on Friday and Rs. 4 crore on Saturday.
Youth’s 9-day theatrical gross has surpassed Rs. 35 crore at the Indian box office. The film is anticipated to continue its successful run. It expects to complete its second weekend around Rs. 10 crore to Rs. 12 crore, bringing its total to Rs. 40 crore gross.
Youth is expected to surpass the Rs. 50 crore level from now on. It should be accomplished by the end of its second week, if it maintains a strong hold on weekdays. The Ken Karunaas starrer grossed Rs. 30.75 crore in its native markets alone. The comic drama also acquired an appeal outside Tamil Nadu. It raised approximately Rs. 2.75 crore from Karnataka, Rs. 90 lakh from Telugu states, and Rs. 85 lakh from the remaining Indian states.
Ken Karunaas, of Dhanush’s Asuran fame, wrote and directed the film, which he also stars in. Aside from him, the film also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Devadarshini, Anishma Anilkumar, Priyanshi Yadav, and Meenakshi Dinesh.
