While responding to a tweet from WWE Network’s official handle, Harwood wrote:
Put the Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette in your Hall of Fame you cowards!!!!
The original WWE Network tweet recognized the epic rivalry between The Midnight Express and The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express in the 1980s. Fans were invited to choose between the two tag teams, according to the handle.
The Midnight Express had a lot of success in many areas, including Mid-South Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling, and Jim Crockett Promotions, but they never wrestled for the WWE. Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton, and subsequently Eaton and Stan Lane, were the team’s most renowned incarnations.
WWE will be honoring Tag Team Week all week on Peacock, the WWE Network, and all social/digital platforms.
Dax Harwood recently revealed that he ‘quit’ the pro wrestling industry when Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley were granted the opportunity to compete for the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks.
Many fans were truly concerned about Dax Harwood and contacted him following his post. Harwood later corrected his remarks on Twitter, stating that the FTR member consumed too much alcohol when he made the message and thanking supporters for their support.
