Alabama Barker, the 19-year-old daughter of Travis Barker, was recently hospitalized due to nicotine withdrawal after quitting vaping. According to TMZ, Alabama made the decision to stop vaping about a month ago in an effort to protect her vocal cords, which led to an anxiety attack. She called 911 and was taken to a local hospital in Los Angeles for treatment.
Earlier in December, Alabama made her music debut by releasing the music video for her song Vogue, which featured cameos from her father and stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian. In the video, Alabama and Kourtney are seen in a limousine wearing sunglasses before a paparazzi encounter, where they respond by removing their shades and fanning out $100 bills. Later in the video, Alabama lip-syncs her lyrics as she walks down a runway.
Alabama celebrated her 19th birthday on December 24, the same day as the annual KarJenner Christmas Eve party. She shared photos of her birthday bouquets on Instagram but was notably absent from Kourtney’s Instagram posts, which included her other children. Kourtney’s pictures featured six of her and Travis’s combined seven children, but Alabama was not included.
Alabama also shared on TikTok that she had been sick with the flu around her birthday, explaining that she didn’t get to fully enjoy her celebration but was feeling better by the time she posted the update. She also showed off her Christmas gifts, which reportedly totaled around $80,000, and expressed gratitude for the presents, noting that her followers had requested a peek at her haul.
