
Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has taken the box office by storm, rewriting Indian cinema history within just four days of its release. The film has shattered multiple records, becoming the fastest to cross Rs 200 crore, Rs 300 crore, Rs 400 crore, and Rs 500 crore. By its fourth day, the movie had amassed an astounding Rs 529.45 crore, including Rs 10.65 crore from premiere shows, Rs 164.25 crore on Day 1, Rs 93.8 crore on Day 2, Rs 119.25 crore on Day 3, and Rs 141.5 crore on Day 4, as per Sacnilk.
This feat has catapulted Pushpa 2 into the 9th spot on the list of Top 10 Indian cinema hits, surpassing Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which earned Rs 525.7 crore last year. The film is now poised to challenge iconic titles like Pathaan, Animal, Stree 2, Jawan, Kalki 2898 AD, RRR, KGF 2, and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
Remarkably, Pushpa 2 has already outperformed the first-week collections of Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 414.85 crore), RRR (Rs 477.5 crore), and KGF 2 (Rs 523.75 crore). It is expected to surpass Baahubali 2’s Rs 539 crore milestone by Day 5.
In the Hindi market, Pushpa 2 has become the highest-grossing South Indian film in Week 1, earning Rs 285 crore in just four days, overtaking Baahubali 2 (Rs 247 crore) and KGF 2 (Rs 268.63 crore). The Allu Arjun-starrer continues to dominate, setting new benchmarks for Indian cinema.
