Allu Arjun’s team claims reports of political entry ‘false and baseless’

Following rumours that he had met with a political strategist, Allu Arjun’s team stated that he is not in any rush to enter politics anytime soon. According to rumours that surfaced on Thursday, the actor outlined a ten-year plan to run for office at a later time. However, his team had this to say.

Allu Arjun’s team shared a note on X (formerly Twitter) from their official account. It reads, “We would like to clarify that recent rumours about Mr. Allu Arjun entering into politics are entirely false and baseless. We kindly request media outlets and individuals to refrain from spreading unverified information. For accurate updates, please rely on official statements from Allu Arjun’s team. Thank you, Team Allu Arjun.”

As per the RTV report, Arjun had met Prashant Kishor for his future political career. Fans sighed in relief when the actor’s team issued a statement. Since his uncle, actor Pawan Kalyan, ran for office in Andhra Pradesh and Arjun met his friend Silpa Ravi from the opposition party at a rally in Nandyal, there have been rumours of a family feud.

Fans feel that things have changed in the family after Arjun explained that he is still “neutral” in politics and that Pawan is now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is presently showing in theatres, is where Arjun was last seen.

It is a follow-up to Sukumar’s 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. The action-drama, also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil.
