Indian star all-rounder Hardik Pandya took down to Instagram and posted a photo where he is seen travelling in an aeroplane. He captioned his picture “Chilling in the clouds”. On Saturday, also he posted a group picture where he was seen with spouse Natasa Stankovic and brother and India player Krunal Pandya among others. Both Hardik and Krunal have been selected in the new-look Indian side for the six-match limited series in Sri Lanka, starting, July 13.
Both of the Pandya brothers didn’t found a place in the Indian cricket team announced for the tour to England. where the team will play New Zealand in the World Test Championship final in the next week of June, followed by a five-Test series against England.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) picked a second-team squad for India’s white-ball tour to Sri Lanka. Shikhar Dhawan was named captain for both ODIs and T20Is while Bhuvneshwar Kumar is announced as vice-captain. Both Pandya brothers were last seen on the cricket field during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 where they played for Mumbai Indians.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan tour will begin with three ODIs matches starting from July 13, followed by the same number of T20Is starting from July 21. All six matches will be played in R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
